Ackerman’s Store yesterday donated warm clothing to students with disability at Anne Stine School in Molepolole, at a cost of P41, 240.
Speaking at the handing over of the donation, Molepolole Ackerman’s Manager, Mr Thanka Sebetlela, said it’s not the first time they do such donation, only that for the past years they have been affected by Covid 19 pandemic but today they are back once again.He said it is winter season, therefore students are to keep warm, hence the donation.
Coordinating the handing over was Mr Araf Khan whom praised Ackerman’s for the donation and also said that he hope the donation would encourage other members of the business community to do the same. He said that it is important for everyone to do their part in helping children in order to enhance successful learning as these students are tomorrow’s leaders.
The shool head when receiving the donation thanked Ackerman’s for recognizing the children of Anne Stine, citing that during these cold season, the students would be able to keep warm.
