Member of parliament for Molepolole South Hon. Kabo Morwaeng informed residents of Maunatlala ward in Molepolole that farmers can now take ten cattle to Ramatlabama artificial insemination centre for P35 per cow. He said the cattle will be returned when they are pregnant.

The government invested P25 Million in procuring 162 breeding cattle from renowned breeders in the USA in order to increase the national heard and improve thier genetic merit through adaptation of the use of technology.

Hon. Morwaeng cautioned Batswana against believing hearsay and making unnecessary  comments such as,”dikgomo di palama plane pele ga me.”

The bulls and heifers are to be used in the production of germplasm in the form of embryos and semen to improve the domestic breed.
