When presenting his Ministry’s Budget Proposals for 2024/2025 Financial Year, The Honourable Miniter of Transport and Public Works Mr. Eric Molale informed Parliament that under the design and construct package, his Ministry will start design of the following roads and immediately proceed to construction;
• Lentsweletau – Mahetlwe – Hatsalatladi (40Km)
• Hatsalatladi – Botlhapatlou – Ngware – Diphuduhudu (63Km)
• Tloaneng – Mmankgodi (12Km)
• Thamaga – Kubung (22Km)
• Letlhakeng-Khudumelapye-Salajwe-Kaudwane (93Km)
The Minister indicated that Takatokwane – Salajwe-Sorilatholo (88Km) and Sorilatholo – Shadishadi – Sojwe (70Km) roads will undergo design only for budgeting purposes and included for construction during NDP 12 (2025/2026 financial year). The roads will therefore not be constructed in 2024/2025 Financial year.
