His Excellency Howard Van Vranken visited Scottosh Livingstone Hospital yesterday. In his welcome remarks, Deputy Bakwena paramount chief Kgosi Lawrence Mhaladi noted that this was the first visit to Molepolole and that the country has benefitted a lot from USA during COVID 19 era and through programs such as US President Emergency Programme For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
“We appreciate the help, ” a grateful Mhaladi said. For his part,Van Vranken said provision of HIV/AIDS none services is commendable. He also complimented the Ministry of Health on the expansion of PREP points thus it is not surprising the country reached the UN target of 95-95.
The ambassador toured some departments within the hospital. The event was graced by amomg others Kwenemg District Council chairman Allen Jacob and Assistant Minister of Health Setlhomo Lelatisitswe.
