Letlhakeng police are investigating a rape and unlawful wounding case recorded over the Independence holidays in Serinane.
According to Assistant superintendent Lekopanye Molwantwa, a Zimbabwean man was attacked by three men while he was with his girlfriend in the house.
The men demanded cash and cellphones but he had none.
They stabbed him with a sharp object and two of the suspects took him away where they beat him. The one who remained with the girlfriend raped her.
The police are still looking for the suspects. The victims are currently recovering. The public is encouraged to provide the police with any information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects.
