MOGODITSHANE A HOT SPOT FOR PEDESTRIAN FATAL CRASHES

Mogoditshane police have recorded three accidents over the weekend that claimed two lives.

According to station commander Superintendent Boemo Bok, at Gabane a 50 year old man was hit by car while crossing road and sustained injuries and is still hospitalised in a critical condition.

In the wee hours of Sunday, two accidents were recorded along A12 road. In one accident at Supasave, a man aged 48 riding a bicycle was knocked by car and was certified dead upon arrival at hospital.

Another accident occured near Top Centre bar in Metsimotlhabe, where a woman was knocked by car and was certified dead upon arrival at hospital.

As Kweneng Chronicles, we have noted a worrying trend where pedestrians are killed around Mogoditshane and urge all road users to be vigilant when using the A12 road especially at night.
