The course of developing Molepolole is truly on. One of the major priorities is the construction of a state of the art Police Station in Molepolole.I am happy to report that, together with Kgosi Kgari III, last week we met stakeholders including Kweneng Land Board, Molepolole Police and Thari ya Banana leadership to finalize the process of issuing a land certificate to the Police. The meeting was cordial and productive with all attendants clear on their intention to see the Police Station constructed on a portion of land that was previously allocated to Thari ya Banana. With that said, we can all look forward to the construction of a new Police Station in Molepolole in the not too distant future.
We later on had a meeting with the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development where we discussed issues of tribal administration such as the construction of an Administration Block at the Molepolole Kgotla, confirmation of Dikgosana in Molepolole and Kweneng at large as well as addressing the issue of transportation for Tribal Admin personnel. The meeting was positive and we expect good outcomes that will assist Kgosi Kgari III to execute tribal duties.
