KGOSI KGARI SECHELE II SENIOR SCHOOL RECIEVES LAPTOPS AND TABLETS

Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA)  has    donated 1721 laptops to students and 140 tablets to teachers at Kgosi Kgari Sechele II  Senior Secondary in Molepolole this morning, as part of the 56 746, that has been bought for 34 Government Senior Schools in Botswana.


When handing over the gadgets, BOCRA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Martin Mokgware said the gadgets will aid and facilitate service delivery hence work will be much more easier going forward. He also mentioned that they will provide a broadband internet Connectivity to the school.


When giving appreciation remarks, the Minister for State President Honourable Kabo Neal Sechele Morwaeng praised BOCRA stating that, “the gadgets will go a long way in bridging the digital divide in the lives of students. The gadgets will ensure the attainment of knowledge-based economy ideals.” Therefore students will be equipped and facilitated to achieve global educational standards.


Kgosi Kgari III, in his vote of thanks did appreciate the government for going in line with digitalization as it will benefit students even after completing their studies since we living in a world of technology. He further urged students not to misuse or mishandle the gadgets. “They come at great expense and should be treated with utmost care and sensitivity”, Kgosi Kgari said.
