Sojwe Police are investigating a murder incident. According to Station Commander Kitsiso Lemogang, a 26 year old man was reported missing on 15 January. The boy came to Sojwe from Loiso lands with a donkey cart but relatives were shocked to see the donkeys arriving home without him. Upon investigations, police learnt that he was last spotted at one bar in Sojwe.
Yesterday afternoon, they received a report that a man was found floating in a pan in Sojwe and police rushed to the scene where it was confirmed that the deceased is the man reported missing.
Police launched a hunt for everyone who was seen drinking with him and learnt that at some point he was involved in a fight. Lemogang said six men are currently being questioned in relation to the murder. They will be taken before Molepolole magistrate next week.
