Magistrate Solomon Setshedi granted six men bail today who are facing a murder charge. It is alleged that the six men on 15 January 2023,without any lawful excuse killed Morebodi Kgotla and dumped his body in a well at Sojwe pan.
When granting the accused persons bail, Magistrate Setshedi acknowledged the reasons for opposing bail by prosecution but said the prosecution did not show whether the men will abscond or their lives will be in danger when granted bail.
The six were admitted to a cash bail of P2000 each, they are to bring two adult citizen sureties who will bind themselves with P1000 each, attend court on all set dates and should not be brought to court on any reasonable suspicion in which violence is an elenent.
The six men are Tshepang Ramasu,Thabang Dinko,Kadimo Mmereki all from Sojwe, David Radikolane from Molepolole; Thabang Tsetserwa of Shadishadi and Mogomotsi Meck of Serekelo cattle post.
