The preparations and send off of the St Engenas ZCC members and bus driver have used up to 6 million Pula.
In an interview Kweneng District chairman Allen Jacob said the money was spent on caskets, DNA, mortuaries in South Africa, flights, mortuaries in Molepolole and the 45 hearses.
Chairman was setting the record straight as some people thought the hearses were pledged.
He said there is around P83 000 left from donations and pledges and will be divided among families.
