Kemoneilwe Tlhomamiso, a 29 year old herdsman of Mmamosadipitse lands appeared last week before magistrate Solomon Setshedi. Particulars of the offence are that on 3 May 2023 at Mmamosadipitse lands, without any lawful excuse killed Kenosi Masankane.
Prosecutor Thema Marumolo said inveatigations were still ongoing and statements still to be recorded. He informed court that accused was hospitalised at Princess Marina Hospital all along after he attempted to end his life and has been under police escort.
He pleaded with court to remand him as investigations are still ongoing and also to protect him from killing himself. He also informed court they are in process of sourcing counselling services for him.
Marumolo said postmorterm was conducted and they will avail Investigating officer in the next sitting.He will mention on 22 June.
