Francinah wanted court to stop her husband from coming to her parent’s home where she stays. The husband however denied being abusive. “Ga re nne mmogo since a nnela dipampiri tse. We have 4 kids. 3 from her previous relationship and 1 together,” he explained to the magistrate.
Magistrate reiterated that the woman does not want him at her place anymore and explained that separation or divorce is an issue for the High Court. “Fa motho a re ga a go batle emela ko thoko ka jaana Setswana sa re se nkganang se nthola morwalo. Fa a tsamaa, o tla bona yo mongwe. Yo o mmonang le ene fa o mo tshwenya o tla tsamaya,”magistrate explaining.
Francinah said her husband can call and check on their child but magistrate ruled he shouldn’t since the wife accuses her of being verbally abusive. “Fa go tla ko ngwaneng, talk to your uncles ba e go go tseela ngwana. Akere le na le batsadi ba ba le nyadisitseng,” he said.
In the end, the decision taken on July was made final. He was not allowed to stay with or visit his wife. “Le kganelwa go kopana,” magistrare concluded.
